Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Field Service Team Leader to guide a team of Service Engineers across North America, with accountability for field service delivery, commissioning support, and after-sales technical assistance.

You will optimize resource planning, balance safety and quality with cost, and partner with sales to expand service opportunities while driving customer satisfaction and continuous improvement in grid automation solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years leading or managing a service organization.
Experience with automation, protection, control, or related systems.
Strong financial and business acumen including P&L responsibility.
Excellent customer relationship management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of Service Engineers across field service activities.
Oversee daily service operations ensuring safety, quality and cost-effectiveness.
Plan and coordinate field service, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
Allocate resources to meet customer commitments and priorities.
Monitor performance metrics and drive service improvements.
Support customer meetings, escalations and strategic engagements.
Collaborate with Sales to identify new service opportunities and relationships.
Ensure compliance with regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
