Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc. is seeking an engineer to support installation, commissioning, and service of advanced power grid technologies within the Grid Integration Service organization.

You will collaborate with service, commissioning, and engineering teams, focusing on control systems such as HMI, MicroSCADA, and PLC logic. The role spans from commissioning through warranty and ongoing service in dynamic field environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (Electrical/Power/Automation).
• Experience with computer-based control systems is preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously in time-critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Support commissioning, service, and maintenance of power system control platforms including HMI, MicroSCADA, and PLC-based solutions.
• Perform fault tracing, corrections, implementation, and verification of control system components.
• Provide field and phone support for service teams and customers on control system matters.
