Job summary

Yorba Linda Country Club in Yorba Linda, CA, is seeking a Greenskeeper I to join a fast-paced hospitality-focused property. You will support course maintenance, learn ho wto care for greens, and contribute to a well-groomed course.

You will rake bunkers, operate small machinery, and prepare soil beds for sod and seed while assisting with course setup and debris cleanup. Safety and teamwork are expected in daily duties.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow safety instructions.
• Ability to operate basic greenskeeping equipment.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks for extended periods.
• English reading/speaking may be required to communicate with team and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Rakes and maintains sand bunkers.

We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part ofTroon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Compensation $17.00 - $19.00 per hour.

Rakes and maintains sand bunkers.

Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing.

Prepares soil beds for sod, seed and vegetative material.

Involved with tasks related to course detail (weed and debris clean up).

Assists with golf course set-up procedures.

Operates utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris.

Performs skilled duties related to experience (pruning and plugging).

Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work areas.

Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience

Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands

Regularly stands, walks, sits, and uses hands, reaches with hands and arms.

Occasionally climbs or balances; stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches.

Regularly talks or hears.

Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds; up to 50 pounds with assistance.

Regularly works in wet or humid conditions (non-weather) and works near moving mechanical part.

Occasionally works in high, precarious places and in areas with fumes or airborne particles.

Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions.

Occasionally works in extreme heat (non-weather) and experiences vibration.
