Job summary

Yorba Linda Country Club, part of Troon, in Yorba Linda, CA, is seeking a Greenskeeper II to support golf course maintenance and irrigation operations. The role offers hourly compensation and growth within a hospitality-focused property organization.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in golf maintenance with irrigation experience, holds a valid driver’s license, and can communicate in English to interact with staff and guests. This is a hands-on, outdoor position with physical requirements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility.
• Mows greens, approaches, fairways, rough, tees and other areas.
• Waters tees, greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads.
• Repairs the irrigation system, pipes and heads as necessary.
• Grades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairways.
• Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds.
• Applies pesticides and fertilizer to the golf course.
• Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Compensation

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility
• Mows greens, approaches, fairways, rough, tees and other areas
• Waters tees, greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water
• Repairs the irrigation system, pipes and irrigation heads as necessary
• Grades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairways
• Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds
• Applies pesticides and fertilizer to the golf course
• Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Education and Experience Requirements

• 2 years of golf maintenance experience with additional experience in golf course irrigation.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g., the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co‑workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English)
