Troon, the global leader in golf and community management, seeks a full-time Greenskeeper at Laguna Woods Village in Laguna Woods, CA. The role supports golf course operations, with duties spanning mowing, irrigation, soil prep, and landscape maintenance.

Ideal candidates will have a valid driver's license and basic English language ability to read and communicate. Flexible schedule, benefit eligibility, and on-site work are included.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e., the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English)

• Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility
• Mows greens, approaches, fairways, rough, tees and other areas
• Waters tees, greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water
• Repairs the irrigation system, pipes and irrigation heads as necessary
• Grades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairways
• Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds
• Applies pesticides and fertilizer to the golf course
• Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Laguna Woods Village, located in Laguna Woods, CA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Greenskeeper! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Compensation:

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

Ideal candidates have flexible schedules with availability to work extended hours during golf and holiday season, as needed.

Responsibilities

Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility

Mows greens, approaches, fairways, rough, tees and other areas
