Little Leaf Farms is seeking an Assistant Operations Controller to strengthen the finance team supporting greenhouse manufacturing operations. The role provides a clear path toward controllership for a motivated candidate with finance talent.

You will partner with site operations to manage inventory, COGS, variances, and costing, while helping drive improvements in internal controls and financial reporting across two major facilities.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or finance.
• CPA or master’s degree would be a plus.
• 5-7 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience in agriculture or CEA is a plus but not required.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to relate operations to financial outcomes.
• Proficient MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook; ability to multi-task.

Mansioni

• Support accounting for greenhouse operations including inventory, COGS, manufacturing expenses and accruals.
• Assist with standard cost process and annual updates.
• Analyze financial data related to manufacturing costs, variances and variances reviews.
• Review inventory transactions and ensure accuracy of inventory valuations.
• Support month-end close and financial reporting with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Develop KPIs and provide actionable insights to leadership; support budgeting.
