Job summary

Green Thumb Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Facility Plant Controller to join the Operations Finance team. You will oversee monthly close, financial analysis, inventory control, budgeting, forecasting, and balance sheet reconciliations for the plant, while partnering with operations and leadership.

This role requires strong GAAP knowledge, hands-on cost accounting experience in manufacturing, and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, implement ERP projects, and provide

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 8+ years of total accounting experience and 5+ years in Operations finance or cost accounting in manufacturing.
• Strong mastery of GAAP and company policies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly closing of financials for facility in accordance with GAAP and Company policy.
• Prepare monthly analysis of financial results including variance/bridging analysis with facility GM and operations staff.
• Coordinate and oversee physical inventories, SOX, and audits with plant sites.
• Prepare daily/weekly labor utilization plan, including headcount and overtime reporting.
• Lead and prepare annual budget and monthly forecasts; compare projections to prior year and prior forecasts.
• Coordinate evaluation of capital projects and approval processes.
• Maintain fixed asset register and calculate depreciation.
