Job summary

Lackawanna College is seeking a Student Financial Services Manager of Grants to join the team in a full-time remote capacity. The role oversees state and institutional grants and external scholarships, ensuring accurate eligibility, documentation, and timely delivery of aid to students and families.

Responsibilities include managing the Federal Work-Study program, maintaining scholarship portals, and coordinating related events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years Financial Aid experience in higher education.
• Experience with PA State Grant and Special Programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and implement operations for state, institutional, and external grants and scholarships.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations in awarding aid.
• Prepare and verify financial aid packages and eligibility.
• Manage the Federal Work-Study program.
• Coordinate Scholarship Portal activities and LC Scholarship Committee.
• Develop and maintain scholarship webpages and related portals.
• Support reporting requirements for grants and scholarships.
• Coordinate scholarship-related events with Advancement or other offices.
• Maintain state grant files and student records for state-funded programs.
• Oversee Title IV verification and communications with students and third-party servicers.
