Job summary

Wilson College in Chambersburg, PA is seeking a collaborative Grants Manager to advance the institution’s funding priorities across government, corporate, and private foundations. You will identify opportunities, support proposal development, and manage reports and stewardship.

The role requires an organized writer who can balance independent work with cross‑functional collaboration, coordinating with faculty, staff, and leadership to maintain strong funding relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of related experience in grant writing, fundraising, development, or sponsored programs preferred.
• Experience researching and working with government, corporate, and private foundation funding opportunities preferred.
• Experience preparing grant proposals, applications, reports, or other professional written materials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research foundation, corporate, state, and federal funding opportunities aligned with College priorities and faculty and staff funding needs.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective funding opportunities for the College.
• Prepare, write, edit, and submit grant proposals, applications, letters of inquiry, and other funding requests.
• Coordinate proposal development with faculty, staff, project managers, principal investigators, the Business Office, and other appropriate College departments.
• Maintain grant files, calendars, timelines, deadlines, and other documentation necessary for effective grant administration and stewardship.
