Job summary

College & Community Fellowship (CCF) seeks a Grants Manager to join the Development Department and help secure $2.8 million+ in funding from foundations, government programs, and partners. The role requires building strong relationships with program and policy teams and coordinating with the finance team.

You will research and draft inquiries and proposals, manage funder relationships, ensure timely submissions, and prepare reports for the board and fundraising plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years creative grant-writing/fundraising experience with demonstrated success managing multi-year grants and renewals required.
• Experience managing government contracts – proposal development and submission, budgeting, etc. highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Research and write comprehensive and persuasive letters of inquiries, grants proposals, acknowledgment letters, and reports.
• Develop and maintain an active prospect list to support existing funding needs and new programming priorities.
• Manage relationships with select funders.
• Manage timelines and coordinate with staff to ensure grant submissions meet all requirements and collect supplemental materials.
• Work with the Director of Development, Deputy Executive Director, and finance on budget preparation and fiscal compliance.
• Monitor government channels (e.g., Grants Gateway) and rating agencies (e.g., Guidestar).
• Maintain grant files in Salesforce and run regular reports for board and fundraising plans.
• Support development of collateral materials and the annual report.
