Job summary

Wilson College in Chambersburg, PA seeks a Grants Manager to advance the College's grants program across government, corporate, and private foundations. You will identify funding opportunities, coordinate proposals, and manage reporting and stewardship in collaboration with faculty and College leadership.

The successful candidate will be organized, persuasive writer with ability to manage multiple grants, deadlines, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–3 years in grant writing or fundraising preferred.
• Experience in research and proposal development preferred.
• Experience with government, corporate, or private foundations preferred.
• Experience preparing grant proposals and reports preferred.
• Collaborative work with faculty and staff to develop proposals preferred.
• Experience with Raiser's Edge or similar systems preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Research funding opportunities aligned with College priorities.
• Develop pipeline of prospective funding opportunities.
• Assist in developing grant concepts and projects.
• Prepare, write, edit, and submit grant proposals and other funding requests.
• Coordinate proposal development with faculty, staff, project managers, principal investigators, and offices.
• Review guidelines to ensure proposals meet deadlines.
• Coordinate awarded grants with project managers and offices.
• Assist with preparation and submission of grant reports.
• Maintain grant files, calendars, timelines, and documentation.
• Maintain records in Raiser's Edge and other systems.
• Maintain and steward relationships with funders and partners.
• Coordinate funder stewardship activities.
