Job summary

Maryland Department of Labor is seeking a Fiscal Services Administrator I to supervise the grants fiscal team and oversee post-award financial activities, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. You will review expenditures, prepare cash drawdowns, and manage journal entries.

The position reports to the Grant Manager in the Office of Administration and requires coordinating with program leadership to support fiscal integrity and timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or closely related field.
• 5 years of progressive, professional experience in governmental or non-profit accounting or budgeting.
• 2 years experience directly supervising professional fiscal personnel.
• Notes: CPA or other graduate-level certifications may substitute for 2 years of experience.

• Manage and supervise staff to the unit.
• Maintain and document communication with assigned programs leadership and directors.
• Oversee the fiscal administration of assigned programs and supervise staff in related fiscal duties.
