Job summary

Maryland Department of Natural Resources, Finance and Administrative Services is seeking an Agency Grants Supervisor to support fiscal and grant activities, coordinate grant setups, oversee billing, and ensure compliance with established policies. The supervisor guides staff, reviews work for accuracy, and helps maintain efficient fiscal procedures.

The role reports to the FAS program and oversees grant-related tasks, ensuring timely reporting and adherence to state regulations.

Qualifications

• Nine years of experience in grant evaluation and monitoring or budget preparation, presentation and execution.
• Candidates may substitute a Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience in grant evaluation and monitoring or budget preparation, presentation and execution.
• Graduate education in accounting, business administration, economics, finance, political science or public administration may substitute for five years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate grant setups, monitor billing processes, and ensure compliance with policies.
• Provide oversight to grant-related activities and reporting.
• Supervise lower-level staff and maintain efficient procedures for fiscal information.
