Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Development Associate to join the Cooley Dickinson Development Team in Northampton, MA. This on-site, full-time role supports post-award grants, donor data, and email/community fundraising operations.

With a Bachelor’s Degree preferred, the ideal candidate will manage mailing lists, deposits, and donor acknowledgements while collaborating with program managers and a diverse audience to advance community care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational, time management, problem solving, and project management skills.
• Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
• Proficiency with videoconferencing platforms (Zoom/Teams).
• Experience with data entry or data management in a database (Blackbaud CRM or Raiser's Edge).
• Attention to detail, creativity, and strong work ethic.
• Desire to learn about fundraising and the organization.
• Adept at collaborating with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Administers the post-award grants process with guidance from the Grants & Stewardship Officer.
• Generates mailing and email lists from the donor database.
• Processes mail and manages daily donation deposits.
• Coordinates and reviews daily and weekly donor acknowledgements.
• Manages the email communications platform and maintains donor data integrity.
• Oversees the platform used by community members fundraising for Cooley Dickinson.
• Assists in processing charitable gifts and pledges with documentation.
• Supports daily administrative activities including constituent inquiries.
