Job summary

Guardians of Honor in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Data Management Specialist to lead grants management data analysis and reporting for the Office of Head Start client.

You will serve as the primary data and system contact between the functional and technical teams, building, maintaining, and testing databases, and consolidating data from multiple sources to enable reliable access for analysts and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3–5 years of related professional experience
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, SQL, Power BI
• Ability to aggregate, analyze, and present data from multiple sources
• Metadata management, data quality assurance and governance
• Ability to work onsite at the OHS Southwest Regional Office
• Knowledge of Head Start program and grants systems preferred
• Ability to pass background investigations for Public Trust clearance

Responsibilities

• Lead grants management data analysis and reporting tasks
• Serve as primary data/system contact between functional and technical teams
• Build, maintain, and test databases and IT infrastructure
• Consolidate data from multiple sources for reliable access
• Create and support trainings on database functionality
• Develop SOPs and QC procedures and update for best practices
• Prepare reports and presentations on analytical findings
• Coordinate with team to ensure high-quality content and functionality
• Assist with pre/post-award grants management activities as assigned
