Job summary

Samaritan's Purse is seeking a Grants Liaison in Boone, NC to join the Projects team. You will manage externally funded awards, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure grantor compliance while drafting proposals and reports.

The role requires a finance/intl development background, 3–5 years experience with major donor grants, and a strong ability to analyze and communicate with diverse stakeholders. Domestic and international travel is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, International Development, or a related field with 3–5 years of related experience and/or training.
• 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); opportunity to complete upon hire.
• Experience managing U.S. Government or other major donor grants is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with Jesus Christ and be a witness for Jesus Christ.
• Coordinate with IMT, IDRU, DART, and Regional Teams to ensure satisfactory award and sub-award programs.
• Track status of externally funded DART responses in compliance with grantor requirements.
• Follow up on award inquiries, submissions, and external monitoring; coordinate communication with IHQ and USDOS as appropriate.
• Ensure timely processing and archiving of periodic and closeout reports for externally funded DART portions.
• Draft concepts, proposals, reports, and external communications with subject matter experts.
• Provide general financial management, monitor expenditures vs. budget; support timely implementation and compliance with awarding agencies.
• Analyze and advise on reporting and compliance for assigned awards; support development of procedures for awarding agency compliance.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Finance, International Development, or related field
