Job summary

Samaritan's Purse in Venezuela is seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial operations for field programs, including cash management, budgeting, and reporting to the Country Director and HQ.

The role requires a degree in accounting, 2–5 years international experience, and preferably CPA; bilingual English/Spanish; travel up to 65 days/year. You will mentor local staff and ensure policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• 2–5 years international work experience or equivalent.
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience with foreign currencies and grants management.
• Twelve credit hours of Biblical studies strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cash, checks, and bank transaction records and lead monthly reconciliations.
• Produce required monthly financial reports to the Country Director and HQ.
• Assist with project budgets and grant funded financial reviews.
• Review and approve transactions for field operations and ensure policy compliance.
• Train and mentor national staff in financial management and regulatory compliance.
