Job summary

World Relief is seeking a Program Officer to oversee US-government funded humanitarian and rapid response grants across multiple countries. You will coordinate compliance, reporting, budgeting and consortium management, serving as a liaison between grant teams and the home office.

The role requires mature Christian faith, relevant college degree and several years in international development; travel is expected. World Relief offers a competitive benefits package in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Mature Christian faith and alignment with World Relief's mission.
• College degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 3–5+ years in international development or humanitarian programs.
• Experience with grant management, budgeting, and donor reporting.
• Ability to travel extensively to fragile contexts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and ensure grant/program compliance with US government and WR standards.
• Coordinate setup of project administration in WR systems (ERP, payroll, portals).
• Maintain grant tracking, reporting schedules and content for donors.
• Manage budgeting, financial invoicing and portfolio cash flow.
• Represent portfolio to internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate across country offices and home office to advance program goals.
