Job summary

Samaritan's Purse in Boone, NC is seeking an Awards Officer to join the Awards Management Team. The role focuses on compliance, reporting, and financial oversight for USG and other donors, ensuring award terms are met and documentation is complete.

You will collaborate with projects staff, train personnel on award rules, monitor budgets, and coordinate sub-awards while traveling domestically about 18 days per year.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, International Development, or related field with 3+ years of related experience.
• Experience with U.S. Government and major donors preferred, and biblical studies coursework.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, interpret, and advise on reporting and compliance for all awarded programs.
• Develop procedures and documentation for award compliance and management.
• Monitor expenditures vs. budget to ensure program financial integrity.
• Coordinate with awards and country teams for sub-award programs and reporting.
• Provide staff training on award rules and internal procedures.
