Job summary

City Colleges of Chicago seeks a Coordinator, Grant Programs (Grant Funded) to advance student success through innovative grant‑funded workforce development initiatives. You will partner with faculty, administrators, and community stakeholders to support implementation, coordination, monitoring, and reporting of programs.

The role requires collaboration, attention to detail, and strong MS Office skills to track enrollment, activity, and outcomes, while ensuring compliance with funding

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Education or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Three to five years in administrative or program administration roles, ideally in higher education or non‑profit.
  • Ability to work in a matrixed environment and cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced setting.
  • Flexible schedule including daytime, evenings, and some weekend hours for grant programming and events.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Inform staff and clients about grant program objectives, processes, and services.
  • Work directly with clients to deliver grant services in line with program requirements.
  • Implement programs to meet grant outcomes and oversee day‑to‑day operations.
  • Prepare and facilitate client workshops and presentations.
  • Maintain records and produce narrative reports documenting activities and outcomes.
