Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Understand and comply with all safety policies.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Availability for extended weekday and weekend hours during grain harvest seasons.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and grade inbound/outbound grain and grain products to meet specs; prepare scale receipts and enter deliveries.
• Operate loading/unloading equipment to ship or receive grain products.
• Inspect grain facilities daily to ensure equipment and stored grains are in good condition.
• Help schedule logistics with the facility manager for inbound/outbound grain.
• Maintain inventories to maximize profitability including grain movements and blending.
• Identify problems or improvements and work with the manager to implement solutions.
• Interact with customers daily regarding grain products.
• Assist in implementing safety programs and environmental procedures.
• Follow the company's emergency notification process and review at the site.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
