Responsibilities

• Weigh and grade inbound and outbound grain and grain products; prepare scale receipts and enter deliveries.
• Operate loading/unloading equipment to ship or receive grain products.
• Inspect grain facilities daily for equipment condition and stored grain quality.
• Assist facility manager with scheduling logistics for inbound/outbound grain.
• Maintain inventories; manage grain movements and blending.
• Identify problems and improvements; work with manager on solutions.
• Interact with customers daily.
• Assist in implementing safety programs as set by Smithfield Foods.
• Comply with environmental laws and procedures; report issues to supervisor.
• Review the company emergency notification process at the work site.
