Smithfield Foods is seeking a grain handling associate to support scheduling, safety programs, and logistics at our Missouri facility. The role includes weighing, grading, and managing grain inventories, while ensuring compliance with environmental and safety policies.

Responsibilities include operating loading/unloading equipment, preparing receipts, and coordinating with the facility manager on inbound/outbound shipments. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and grade inbound/outbound grain to meet specifications.
• Prepare scale receipts and log deliveries into the database.
• Operate loading/unloading equipment for shipping/receiving grain.
• Inspect facilities daily and maintain equipment condition.
• Assist in scheduling logistics for inbound/outbound grain.
• Manage inventories and track grain movements and blending.
• Identify problems and propose solutions with the facility manager.
• Interact with customers daily and uphold service standards.
• Support safety programs and environmental compliance.
