Job summary

The Scoular Company in Montana seeks motivated grain elevator operators to join our team and help load, unload, and grade grain while maintaining safe operations. You will operate loaders and other equipment, manage grain storage, and perform routine maintenance.

Safety is a core expectation, with PPE required and adherence to all protocols. Flexibility for overtime and outdoor work in all weather is essential.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment physical and drug screening required.
• Overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Outdoor work in all weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.
• Must be comfortable with climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.
• Wear PPE such as hard hats, safety glasses, and safety footwear.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload incoming and outgoing grain while assisting with weighing and grading of grain trucks.
• Operate heavy equipment (loaders, skid steer loaders, track mobiles, rail car movers, etc.).
• Manage grain storage by creating and moving grain piles and performing general cleaning of bins and storage structures.
• Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and reporting hazards.
• Perform general maintenance tasks to support operations.
