Job summary

Scoular is seeking motivated grain elevator operators to join our team and contribute to safe and reliable supply chain solutions for our customers. Responsibilities include loading and unloading grain, weighing and grading trucks, operating heavy equipment, and maintaining storage bins. The role requires outdoors work in all weather and adherence to safety protocols.

Experience in a grain facility is preferred but not required. We offer competitive benefits and a culture focused on inclusion.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment physical and drug screening required.
• Overtime including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather, including extreme heat and cold.
• Comfort with climbing ladders, heights and confined spaces.
• Must be able to work around grain dust and in dusty environments.
• Must wear PPE: hard hats, safety glasses, and safety footwear.
• Ability to perform strenuous tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs several times per day.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload incoming and outgoing grain while assisting with weighing and grading of grain trucks.
• Operate heavy equipment (loaders, skid steer loaders, track mobiles, rail car movers, etc.).
• Manage grain storage by creating and moving grain piles and performing general cleaning of bins and storage structures.
• Ensure a safe work environment by following safety protocols and reporting hazards promptly.
• Perform general maintenance tasks to support operations.
