Job summary

Scoular is seeking motivated grain elevator operators to join our team and contribute to safe and reliable supply chain solutions.

You will safely load/unload grain, operate heavy equipment, manage grain storage, and support maintenance. The role emphasizes safety, physical endurance, and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Prior grain facility experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.
• Flexibility to work overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Comfort with climbing ladders and working at heights.
• Ability to work in environments with dust and airborne particles, including grain dust.
• Must wear PPE such as hard hats, safety glasses, and safety footwear.
• Ability to perform strenuous tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. multiple times daily.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload incoming and outgoing grain and assist with weighing and grading of grain trucks.
• Operate heavy equipment (loaders, skid steer loaders, track mobiles, rail car movers, etc.).
• Manage grain storage by creating and moving grain piles and perform cleaning of bins and storage structures.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following safety protocols and reporting hazards.
• Perform general maintenance tasks to support operations.
