Job summary

MKC is seeking an Operations Specialist to assist in the agronomy, grain and feed departments at designated locations in Kansas. Responsibilities include loading/unloading grain and fertilizer, handling grain, and maintaining equipment while promoting outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• Ability to gain operational knowledge of all elevator machinery and perform basic maintenance.
• 7B Fumigation License is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Unload grain from trucks and transfer to bins using available storage space efficiently.
• Weigh test grain when needed and load out to trucks or rail cars within legal limits.
• Unload feed from trucks and load into warehouse or customer vehicles as directed.
• Load fertilizer into customer vehicles or deliver as directed.
• Follow OSHA and MKC safety regulations and promote a safety culture.
