Job summary

MKC is seeking a hands-on Operations Specialist to support the agronomy, grain and feed departments at designated locations in Kansas. Responsibilities include picking up and delivering fertilizer equipment, loading fertilizer and feed, handling grain, and performing routine elevator maintenance while ensuring outstanding customer service.

You will operate the elevator safely, maintain grain quality, and follow all safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Willing to obtain 7B Fumigation License.
• Able to work outdoors and lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Unload grain by trucks; weigh/test; transfer to bins using available storage.
• Load grain to trucks or rail cars within legal weight limits.
• Unload feed from trucks and load into warehouse; deliver to customer vehicles.
• Load fertilizer into customer vehicles or deliver as directed.
• Observe safety regulations and promote a safety culture.
• Maintain equipment and facilities per manufacturer specs and MKC program; keep area clean.
• Assist other locations/departments as needed.
• Maintain facilities and vehicles in proper operating order; document maintenance.
• Maintain a positive image by keeping grounds clean and orderly.
• Provide outstanding customer service to generate repeat business.
