Mid Kansas Coop in Kansas is seeking an Operations Specialist 3 to support agronomy, grain and feed operations. You will blend fertilizer, load equipment and NH3 tanks, handle grain and feed logistics, and assist with seed cleaning while prioritizing safety and customer service.

The role requires ability to operate and maintain equipment, obtain necessary licenses, work independently, and follow MKC safety rules.

Qualifications

• Ability to gain operational knowledge of machinery in elevator and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Must obtain and maintain Class 1A Commercial Applicator License, CDL with Hazmat/Tanker, and 7B Fumigation License.
• Basic computer skills and ability to work independently.

Responsabilités

• Unload incoming grain from trucks and weigh/test as needed; transfer to proper bin.
• Blend grains to meet customer specifications and avoid quality discounts.
• Inspect grain quality and perform routine maintenance to improve operation.
• Fumigate grain per safety guidelines.
• Unload feed and load into warehouse; assist with loading into customer vehicles.
• Load fertilizer and NH3 into customer vehicles; deliver as directed.
• Operate a commercial vehicle when required.
• Assist with seed cleaner and monthly inventory duties.
• Provide safety-focused operations support and assist other locations as needed.
• Maintain facilities and vehicles; keep grounds neat; deliver outstanding customer service.
