Job summary

MKC in Buhler, Kansas is seeking an Operations Specialist 2 to support agronomy, grain and feed operations at the designated location. Responsibilities include fertilizer blending, loading, equipment maintenance, NH3 and fertilizer delivery, seed cleaning, and grain handling to ensure efficient, safe and customer-focused service.

This role requires CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, a 7B fumigation license, and the ability to operate and maintain elevator machinery.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Willing to obtain 7B Fumigation License.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to handle heavy loads and operate related equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Unload grain from trucks and weigh/transfer as needed.
• Blend grains to meet customer specifications.
• Inspect stored grain and maintain quality.
• Load feed and fertilizer into customer vehicles.
• Deliver fertilizer and operate commercial vehicles as directed.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain equipment.
