Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must obtain temporary or permanent licensure as a Registered Nurse in Alabama or multi-state RN license.
• Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification; ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC may be required for certain areas.

Responsibilities

• Administers bedside patient care in hospital/inpatient settings under supervision.
• Assesses patient needs and develops individualized plans of care; evaluates progress toward outcomes.
• Communicates with the medical team and families to coordinate care.
• Documents patient care and maintains required regulatory standards.
• Serves as a role model and contributes to unit-based quality improvement.
