Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its general medicine unit. You will provide comprehensive patient care in a 24-bed unit, coordinating with physicians and a diverse care team to support heart, renal, respiratory, and infectious disease patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Maintains current State of Alabama RN license or equivalent.
• Implements and updates patient care plans.
• Demonstrates knowledge of age-specific care needs.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop/revise care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinate care and delegate tasks to team members.
• Document patient care in the medical record.
• Provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered care.
• Advocate for patients and ensure safety across shifts.
• Participate in staff education and performance improvement.
