Job summary

Ward Getz & Associates LLC (WGA) in Texas seeks 2 Graduate Engineers to join the Public Infrastructure Central Texas Practice, open to candidates in Austin, San Antonio, and Dallas. You will assist with planning, design, cost estimates, and project delivery across multi-disciplinary teams.

The role requires a Civil or Environmental Engineering degree and an EIT license or progress toward licensure within six months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other related engineering discipline
• EIT license required; or able to receive within 6 months of employment

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals, scopes of work and contract cost estimates and requires an understanding of multi-disciplinary team coordination
• Devises alternative approaches and solutions to problems
• Engineering planning, analysis, design, estimating, contracting, project management, construction and delivery phases
• Building and maintaining relationships between project teams and collaborating to ensure that technical, quality, cost and client requirements are implemented
• Coordinating with outside sub-consultants, as needed
• Preparing a range of reports to communicate project information to team members, clients, and other stakeholders
• Works closely with project team
• The candidate will handle multiple simultaneous projects, within a multi-disciplinary team
• Maintain regular and prompt attendance at WGA office
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education
