Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering or equivalent.
• Engineer-in-Training certificate or ability to obtain within 6–12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist project team in design of public infrastructure work.
• Provide technical, day-to-day design support to Project Engineer, including drafting support for plans.
• Prepare engineering reports, feasibility studies, and utility evaluations.
• Prepare drawings and visual aids.
• Use AutoCAD Civil3D, Bluebeam, MicroStation, Open Roads, HEC-RAS, or related software.
• Follow internal QA/QC procedures and engineering standards.
• Coordinate with agency staff and internal teams on designs and issues.
