Job summary

The role involves design, planning, coordination with clients and sub-consultants, proposal development, and mentoring junior staff. Candidates should have 4+ years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's in Engineering, and PE licensure or eligibility within 6 months; Houston office attendance required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in civil/environmental engineering focusing on water/wastewater conveyance or treatment design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.
• Texas Professional Engineer registration or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and contract cost estimates with multi-disciplinary coordination.
• Devise alternative approaches and solutions to problems.
• Engineeing planning, analysis, design, estimating, contracting, project management, construction, and delivery for water/wastewater systems.
• Municipal/master planning, evaluation, rehabilitation, and expansion.
• Maintain relationships between project teams and clients, ensuring technical, quality, cost and client requirements.
• Coordinate with outside sub-consultants.
• Prepare reports to communicate project information to team members, clients, and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior staff; manage multiple projects; attend WGA Houston office.
