Job Summary

This position will assist in teaching undergraduate students Health Assessment and Clinical Skills as well as maintenance of the Simulation Lab and supplies

Responsibilities

  • Provide instruction to prelicensure BSN students on health assessment techniques and clinical skills.
  • Maintain equipment in the lab.
  • Set up simulation rooms for various simulation scenarios for prelicensure students.
  • Restock simulation supplies in the lab.
  • Perform other Simulation Lab duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree
  • Licensed as an RN (registered nurse) in Georgia with an unrestricted license.
  • Three years of experience working as an RN
  • Ability to teach undergraduate students health assessment techniques and clinical skills.
  • Knowledge of routine equipment used in the hospital setting

Proposed Salary

Salary is commensurate to experience and education and includes a tuition waiver. This position can work up to 19 hours per week.
