Job summary

The University of Bridgeport seeks an Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions to lead recruiting efforts for domestic graduate enrollment. This role reports to the AVP of Enrollment Management and manages a team of Graduate Admissions Counselors, guiding strategy and performance to meet program-level targets.

The ideal candidate will be a results-driven recruiter with strong leadership skills, data fluency, and a collaborative approach with academic departments to enroll the right students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years in college/university admissions, graduate recruitment, or equivalent.
• Experience supervising staff and coaching to goals.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms and student information systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop a team of Graduate Admissions Counselors with onboarding and evaluations.
• Set inquiry, application, admit, deposit, and enrollment goals for counselors.
• Monitor activity and provide feedback with performance improvement plans.
• Represent the university at recruitment events and advisory sessions.
