Job summary

Moss seeks a Pile Drive/GPS Technician to support the accurate, safe installation of piles on solar projects. You will operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot GPS-guided pile-driving systems, verify locations and elevations, and maintain installation records.

Travel to multiple project sites is required, with collaboration across project teams, vendors, and subcontractors. You will ensure system safety, perform routine maintenance, and contribute to on-time production in dynamic construction

Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate degree or relevant coursework preferred in construction tech or surveying.
3–5 years of construction experience preferred.
Experience with GPS, GNSS, machine-control, survey, or construction tech systems required.
Ability to read construction plans, layouts, and specifications.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to jobsites.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot GPS-guided pile-driving equipment and field tech.
Verify pile locations, elevations, and data against plans and specs.
Support crews by providing layout and production information.
Perform inspections and basic repairs on GPS and surveying equipment.
Document electronic work orders and daily reports accurately.
Coordinate with teams to resolve layout or equipment issues.
Ensure safety and readiness of equipment for jobsite use.
Travel to project sites as needed.
