Job summary

Moss seeks a Pile Drive/GPS Technician to support accurate and safe pile installation on solar projects. You will operate GPS-guided equipment, verify locations and elevations, and assist with layout and data management across multiple sites.

The role requires traveling to project sites, strong communication with teams, and independent work in active construction environments. License and GPS experience highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree, technical training, or related coursework preferred.
• Experience with GPS, GNSS, machine-control, or surveying systems required.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and staking information.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot GPS-guided pile-driving equipment.
• Verify pile locations, elevations, and data against plans and specs.
• Support crews with accurate layout and production information.
• Perform routine inspections and basic repairs on GPS and survey gear.
• Document electronic work orders and daily reports accurately.
