Job summary

Moss is actively seeking a Pile Drive/GPS Technician to support accurate, safe pile installation on solar construction sites. You will operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot GPS-guided pile-driving systems, verify locations and elevations, and provide precise layout data to crews on site.

The role requires traveling to multiple project sites, coordinating with field teams, and maintaining equipment and records in accordance with Moss Safety Guidelines.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of GPS, GNSS, machine-control, survey, layout, or construction technology systems.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and site layouts.
• Willingness to travel to multiple project sites.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot GPS-guided pile-driving equipment and related field technology.
• Verify pile locations, elevations, alignment, and installation data against project plans and specs.
• Support pile-driving crews by providing accurate layout, positioning, and production information.
• Perform routine inspections and basic repairs on GPS equipment and related components.
• Upload/download and maintain project files, GPS data, and as-built information.
• Coordinate with project teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure safety and efficiency.
