Moss is seeking a Pile Drive/GPS Technician to support accurate, safe installation of piles on solar projects. You will operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot GPS-guided pile-driving systems and related field tech to align locations, elevations, and installation data with project plans.

You will collaborate with project teams, equipment operators, survey staff, and vendors; travel to sites; and maintain installation records while staying safe in active construction environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree, technical training, or relevant coursework preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of construction industry experience preferred.
• Experience with GPS, GNSS, machine-control, survey, or related systems required.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, layouts, and specifications.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to travel and stay overnight as needed.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsabilités

• Set up, operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot GPS-guided pile-driving equipment.
• Verify pile locations, elevations, alignment against plans and specs.
• Support crews with layout and production information during installation.
• Perform routine inspections and basic repairs on GPS and survey gear.
• Respond to jobsite requests for GPS, machine-control, and layout issues.
• Coordinate with management, field staff, and vendors on technical issues.
• Upload/download project files, GPS data, and as-built information.
• Ensure equipment and GPS systems are safe and ready for use.
• Complete electronic work orders, daily reports, and inspections accurately.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in layouts and site conditions.
