Job summary

Moss is hiring a Pile Drive/GPS Technician to support the precise installation of piles on solar projects. You will operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot GPS-guided pile-driving systems and related field technology to ensure alignment with project plans.

You will work with project teams, equipment operators, survey personnel, and vendors, traveling to sites as needed to maintain accurate records and ensure safe, efficient production.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree, technical training, or relevant coursework preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of construction industry experience preferred.
• Experience supporting GPS/machine-control operations preferred.
• Experience with GPS, GNSS, machine-control, survey, or construction technology systems.
• Ability to read construction plans, site layouts, grade plans, staking information, and project specs.
• Ability to travel to jobsites and stay overnight as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot GPS-guided pile-driving equipment.
• Verify pile locations, elevations, alignment, and installation data against plans.
• Provide accurate layout and production information throughout installation activities.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on GPS equipment and related tech.
• Communicate and troubleshoot technical issues with project teams and vendors.
• Upload/download and maintain project files and GPS data.
