Job summary

Acusensus is seeking an operations-focused professional to act as the key link between our team and a major government client, ensuring the Connecticut state road safety program runs smoothly and the relationship is protected and grown.

You will own day-to-day client contact, assist the Account Manager with plans, budgets, and governance, monitor KPIs, and prepare reports while coordinating resources for field operations in Connecticut.

Qualifications

• Experience in account management, client management, or operations management in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn operational data into clear recommendations.
• Experience managing government contracts or working in a regulated, compliance-driven environment, with an understanding of SLAs, KPI reporting, and contract governance.
• A track record of managing multiple concurrent programs in a dynamic environment.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging senior government and internal stakeholders.
• A proactive, self-directed working style, with strong judgement under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary day-to-day operational contact for the government client, building trust and resolving concerns before they escape.
• Support the Account Manager on program plans, timelines, budgets, and governance frameworks.
• Monitor contractual compliance and KPIs, proactively flagging and escalating risks.
• Prepare and quality-assure client reports, invoicing, program plans, and risk/issue logs.
• Apply data analysis to track performance metrics, surface trends, and inform decisions.
• Help plan and run governance meetings and client forums, including agendas and action tracking.
• Contribute to tender responses, contract renewals, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate program resources, equipment, materials, and personnel to keep field operations running smoothly.
