Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain.
  • 8+ years of experience in traffic/transportation engineering.
  • Strong background with DOT projects and public agency coordination.
  • Experience managing projects, budgets, and schedules.
  • Proficiency with CAD and delivering full design plan sets.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

A leading, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking a Traffic Engineering Project Manager to join its growing transportation team in Connecticut.

This firm delivers high-impact infrastructure projects across the Northeast, partnering with state DOTs, municipalities, and private clients to improve mobility, safety, and connectivity across communities.

The Role

Glastonbury, Connecticut (Hybrid)

The successful candidate will take a lead role in the delivery of traffic and roadway projects from concept through construction. This is a client-facing leadership position with responsibility for project execution, team management, and business development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead traffic engineering and roadway projects, managing scope, schedule, and budget
  • Oversee project delivery from initial planning through to construction
  • Manage and mentor junior engineers and technical teams
