Compass Point, an Akima company, seeks a PC Technician to support units at Fort Benning, GA. You will help ensure the stability and efficiency of government IT infrastructure, including enterprise email, desktops, and applications.

The ideal candidate holds DoD 8140-411 Basic certification, a current TS clearance with SCI eligibility, a STEM bachelor’s degree, and 3–5 years in IT support. On-site work and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• DoD 8140-411 Basic certification required.
• Current TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field; applicable experience may substitute.
• 3–5 years of IT support experience in enterprise environments.

Responsabilités

• Provide admin and support for enterprise email, user accounts, desktop software, and government apps (Remedy, MECM, VMware, ESXi, NetApp ONTAP).
• Diagnose hardware/software issues on end-user systems, deploy software, image systems, and manage file-access controls.
• Liaise for initiation, monitoring and resolution of end-user incident management processes.
• Coordinate incident reports and service requests with IT teams; ensure documentation and escalation as per protocols.
• Support local registration authority functions.
• Provide updates on IT incidents and projects; escalate to senior IT teams or vendors as needed.
