Compass Point seeks a PC Technician to support enterprise IT systems at Fort Benning, GA, ensuring operation, security, and availability of government infrastructure. You will diagnose hardware and software issues, deploy images, and manage access controls, while coordinating with incident management teams.

Required: DoD 8140-411 Basic certification, Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, a STEM degree, and 3–5 years in IT support.

Qualifications

• Must have DoD 8140-411 Basic certification.
• Must be able to maintain DoD 8140-411 Basic via continuing education or re-certification.
• Possess current Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field; relevant experience may substitute.
• Years Experience: 3-5 Years.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical support and administration for enterprise email platforms, user accounts provisioning, standardized desktop software suites, and government applications using tools such as Remedy, MECM, VMware, ESXi, and NetApp ONTAP.
• Diagnose and remediate hardware and software issues on end-user systems, deploy software and system imaging, and administer access controls for shared file systems.
• Act as liaison for initiation, monitoring, and resolution of end-user incident management processes.
• Coordinate Incident Reports and Service Requests with cross-functional IT teams, ensuring documentation, escalation alignment, and resolution tracking.
• Support local registration authority functions.
• Provide updates on IT incidents, changes, and projects; escalate to senior IT teams or vendors as needed.
