Job summary

Compass Point is seeking an Associate Computer User Support Specialist to support USSOCOM. The role requires active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance, DoW 8140, and a STEM degree with 3–5 years IT experience.

You will support enterprise email, endpoints, and government apps using Remedy, MECM, VMware, ESXi, and NetApp ONTAP on-site. Strong communication skills and independent judgment are essential as you resolve complex issues and coordinate incident management with cross-functional IT teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a STEM field; relevant experience may substitute.
3–5 years of IT support experience.
Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance or eligibility; DoW 8140 basics.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support and administration for enterprise email platforms and government applications using Remedy/MECM/VMware.
Diagnose and remediate hardware and software issues on end-user systems and manage system imaging.
Act as liaison for incident management; monitor and escalate as needed.
Coordinate management of Incident Reports and Service Requests with IT teams.
Support local registration authority functions and update stakeholders.
Provide updates on IT incidents, changes and projects to leadership.
