Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Nationwide Government Sales Specialist to own a portfolio of high-value U.S. government accounts.

You will drive outbound prospecting, qualify opportunities, and close deals by engaging senior state and local government executives across agencies and cabinet offices. You will travel nationwide to meetings and events, working with an experienced sales team to articulate Thomson Reuters solutions and respond to RFPs.

Qualifications

• Experience in quota-carrying sales within government, enterprise SaaS, or large strategic accounts.
• Proven ability to develop and close multi-stakeholder deals on high-value government programs.
• Comfort with travel across the US to meet agencies and attend events.

Responsibilities

• Own and exceed quota for a national portfolio of high-value government accounts.
• Prospect into state and local agencies, building relationships with executives and procurement leaders.
• Log activities and pipeline updates in Salesforce and collaborate with Account Executives.
