Kaizen Labs is modernizing government technology by building AI-native software for public services. We are a small, cloud-first team in New York City focused on identity, devices, and access controls that meet stringent government requirements.

As the lead for identity, device management, and lifecycle governance, you’ll own automated provisioning, deprovisioning, and evidence-rich policy enforcement across a distributed workforce. You will shape how government tech is trusted and used.

Qualifications

• Experience owning a modern identity provider (Okta/Entra/JumpCloud) and managing users, SCIM provisioning and lifecycle rules.
• Hands-on endpoint management across a real fleet; familiarity with managed devices and policy enforcement.
• Experience pairing endpoint management with an EDR tool (CrowdStrike, Huntress or similar).
• Experience building joiner/mover/leaver processes with an audit trail.
• Ability to run access reviews that auditors accept; avoid checklists.
• Fluency in a cloud-first macOS environment (Google Workspace, AWS, SSO).
• Ability to write runbooks that survive engagement end.
• US person and eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Own a centralized identity provider consolidation, automated provisioning and deprovisioning.
• Lead device management efforts to meet government customers’ requirements and evidence them.
• Turn joiner/mover/leaver processes into auditable, timed workflows with evidence.
• Establish and manage recurring access reviews with documented cadence and traceability.
• Stand up a scoped enclave boundary with dedicated identity and devices.
• Maintain the SaaS estate inventory, owners and data posture across systems.
