Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Configuration Manager in Charleston, SC to oversee the lifecycle, version control, and consistency of software, hardware, or system components. You will develop configuration strategies, manage change control processes, and maintain CMDB records.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in IT service management or related fields, familiarity with CMDB tools and ITIL, and a active Secret clearance. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years in IT service management, software development, or systems engineering operations.
• Familiarity with CMDB tools, ITIL frameworks, and version control or tracking software (e.g., Polarion, Team Foundation Server, ServiceNow).
• High attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Active Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement configuration management plans, policies, and procedures.
• Establish and maintain accurate configuration baselines for hardware, software, and documentation.
• Oversee engineering change requests (ECRs) and support
• Support asset tracking accuracy and lifecycle visibility.
• Conduct regular configuration audits and verification tests to check consistency against actual infrastructure.
